Contract Connections

  • Do you have more work than you can handle?

  • Having a hard time finding qualified engineers and surveyors to fill your open positions?

  • Would you like more work during your slower seasons?

It’s no secret that companies in the land development industry are having a harder and harder time finding and attracting qualified engineers and surveyors. It’s also no secret that due to the cyclical nature of work there are times when organizations have more work than they can get done.

So what’s the secret to solving these problems?

Eagle Point is pleased to introduce Contract Connections! Through Contract Connections you can advertise for subcontractors when you have excess work and bid on projects when you have excess capacity. No more worries about layoffs during slow times or having to pass on a project because you lack the appropriate staff.

Contract Connections is great for organizations and individuals alike. While it is a great place for anyone who wants more work or needs help getting work done, it also provides an avenue for companies to find subcontractors with specialty skills, locations favorable to a project site, or for retired individuals looking to work on a few projects a year.

Here’s how it works…

Submitting a Project

As a member of the Eagle Point Exchange you can solicit bids from members of the exchange quickly and easily. To get started, click on the Submit a Project link.  You will be directed to answer questions about your project and upload any project files that you would potential bidders to see. Please note: this is a “blind” submission process in which potential bidding parties will not know the company placing the project for bid. Therefore, you may not include any contact and/or other identifying information in any project descriptions or files that you submit.

Project requests can be as formal as a Request for Qualifications/Proposal or as informal as you would like. However it is important to provide as much information as possible to make it easy for potential bidders to understand your requirements. This also helps minimize the number of questions you will receive.

Browsing and Bidding on Project

You can easily browse the available projects by clicking the Browse Projects link. You will see all of the current projects, a short description, and the corresponding deadlines. You may view the details of the project by clicking on the project title.

Submitting Questions

While you will not be able to view the contracting party directly, you may submit questions to them via the question area. Questions are accepted by the contracting party through the end of the question period specified and will be answered in a timely manner. Please note, all questions submitted and corresponding answers are available for all potential bidding parties to view.
